Did Bill Cut Him Off or Did He Wreck Bill ?  Will They "Meet" Again? "That's Racing!"

Bill drew at the very back again! I would draw for him if I could. 197out of a possible 225 tonight placing his starting position 13th of 13, again. And again he had to, and did, get to  6th in 8 laps to assure a transfer to the feature. Tonight was marred with accidents for Bill. He was involved in a five car pileup in the heat race but was able to continue the race and he took a pretty good shot at head level in the accident in the feature. Unfortunately tonight he brought the 92 car home in a seriously damaged condition. Nick and the crew will have their work cut out for them this week. He gained 7 positions in the heat race and started 11th in the feature. He moved up to 4th before the accident. He was involved in three more less serious accidents during these races. He finished in 15th position and dropped slightly in the points race. Other than a headache and some bruises he will be fine and back in action next week. It will be a  double points night so Nick, Chase, the crew and Bill will be strategizing on how to achieve the best performance next week. Stay tuned. We have only completed the first half of the series. We have 5 more races to go and two are double points nights. Our calculations show he will remain in 5th in the Summer Shootout Championship Points race after race 5 of 10. Link to Race Results  - courtesy 600Racing.com requires Adobe Reader
