What can we say, Bill drew another 205 today. Unlike former weeks, today the draw made the difference. The 205 earned Bill a 9th place starting position in qualifying heat race. He had to gain four positions to earn a good starting position in the feature event. He became trapped behind three slower cars and by the time he cleared them the lead pack was too far away to catch with an eight lap race. He started 12th in the very physical feature race. Bill had to make three significant saves during the race and finished 10th. Let's get 'um next week, Week 10 and the final race of the series.
Johnny Sossman won tonight, Clay Hair was 2nd in a very close points race.
